If you are selling items through classified ads, beware of callers posing as buyers offering to send you money orders, particularly if the money order is for more than the asking price of your product and the “buyer” wants you to send the overage back or to another location.

THIS IS A SCAM AND IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY POPULAR IN COLORADO.
