CRIME STOPPERS ALERT

The Montrose County Sheriff’s Office and Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers are seeking the help of community members to identify and locate the involved parties who committed a burglary near the 16000 Block of Transfer Road in the unincorporated area of Montrose County. The 16000 Block of Transfer Road, is commonly used by outdoor enthusiast who may have seen
suspicious activity
during this time.
On March 28, 2020, multiple individuals cut a fence to a property, drove a vehicle onto the property and entered the locked residence, as well as outbuildings and vehicles. The residence was then ransacked, prior to involved individuals taking items belonging
to the homeowner.
Additionally, three
different sets of shoe prints and vehicle tire tracks were recovered from the scene.

March 24, 2020

Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is requesting
information that will lead to the identification of a suspect who stole an HP Spectra laptop and
personal credit/debit cards from the CMU Maverick Center. Officers with the Grand Junction Police Department were notified on Saturday, February 29, 2020 that a theft occurred at CMU. A black HP Spectra laptop with gold writing on it and personal credit/debit cards were stole from a backpack located in a closet near the concession stand of the basketball courts
