Montrose Regional Crime Stoppers, Inc. and the
Department are seeking the help of citizens to identify and locate the suspect who allegedly robbed the Alta Convenience Store on
S. Townsend Ave.
On Thursday morning
July 11, at 2:21 a.m.,
the Montrose Police
dispatched to 938 South Townsend Avenue for a reported armed robbery of the business at that
location. The male suspect was reportedly dressed
all in black with a
covering his face. It was also reported that the suspect had a firearm in his possession during the
incident. The suspect
reportedly left the scene
before officers were alerted to the incident. Officers were not able to locate any persons in the area matching the description provided. According to
an employee of the
business, the male suspect approached him with the firearm visible, made some comments, and directed the employee to the store’s register. The weapon used was a revolver handgun. The suspect threatened the employee during the event and ultimately left the

This week Crime Stoppers needs your help to identify and locate the suspects
involved in criminal
activity. Shortly after 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12th, an unknown suspect broke the rear passenger window of the first vehicle and broke the rear driver side window of the second vehicle to unlawfully enter both vehicles parked in the 2700 block of G Road. The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a newer model white Chevrolet full size pickup. Credit cards taken from the victim’s wallet were used
by two suspects, a male and female at City Market, Walmart, Safeway and Shell station. The total
